Janardan aka Jordan (Ranbeer Kapoor) is a wannabe rockstar and has all the qualities to become except one that he is not heartbroken atleast as per Janardan’s role model khatana (kumud mishra), the canteen owner of the college in which Janardan studies. So in order to be heartbroken kid he needs to fall in love with a girl who is surely going to betray him. Thus he zeroed to heer( Nargis Fakhri) who is getting married to a guy after few months. Well they do both fall in love but weren't aware of their feelings for each other. Nargis got married and Janardan becomes the rockstar Jordan butboth weren't happy with their life. Will he be able to salvage himself from the path of self destruction he is now?
